For Squeaky Clean Windows Everytime I know the " part " thing can be confusing so here's an easier way to remember it. One small squirt of regular Dawn Dish soap and a splash of white vinegar in a 32 oz. spray bottle. ( WalMart has these for about $ 2.50 and they are made from recycled milk jugs ) Spray your window or mirror with mixture, wash glass in circular motion with a lint free cloth, ( we use microfiber towels) and then squeegie the mixture away. The glass will be sparkling clean and will resist dust staying clean longer.
For Hard Water Rings in toilets and on drains Hard water and lime can build up around the water line in your toilet, and around drains in showers, tubs and sinks. Most products out there that can take care of this problem are very corrosive and acidic making them not environmentally friendly. Here's a safe alternative that is just as effective, creates no waste and is completely safe. Baking Soda and a Pumice Stone Dampen area to be cleaned, sprinkle a little baking soda on the stain or build up. Using a pumice stone, scrub area with small motions. No need to apply alot of pressure, the movement will do the trick. Rinse area and repeat if necessary.
Bleaching Stains in Kitchen Sinks and On Counter Tops Instead of reaching for the chlorine bleach, here are two alternatives that work great, are fast and cheap. Baking soda on a green scrubbie pad will scour away most unwanted stains from your sinks. It will also shine up a stainless sink. A squirt of Real Lemon juice on a coffee stain on your countertop will clean it right up. Also works on Kool Aid and soda stains.
